Here in the UK we are blessed with having seasons. Winter turns to Spring. Spring to Summer, and Summer to Autumn and back to Winter. At each and every step there are changes. And it is those changes we, as Wild Writers, take note. The seasons are a gift to the Wild Writer. They heighten our observation.
In fact, every writer develops that sharp eye - to note changes taking place in trees, the sky, bird song - even the feel of the air. But Wild Writers take further note because we are writing about Nature and the natural world. Writing about Nature grounds us in time and place. To stop and stare brings us back to the present - makes us aware of our surroundings and the detail of where we are and what is around us.
